Gabby Smith is one of our paralegals working out of the Warrnambool office, providing ample support for our truly local lawyers across Western Victoria. Having previously worked at another law firm in Warrnambool, Gabby is well-versed in her role, bringing a conscientious approach to her work. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Law at Deakin University (Geelong Waterfront Campus), graduating at the end of 2026.
While she is an obsessive reader in her spare time, she is also highly passionate about health and wellness and is particularly fond of the gym and walking along the Warrnambool boardwalk with her dog. She ultimately wants to become a criminal or family lawyer based in the Western Districts, allowing her to remain connected to her local community.
Gabby appreciates working at Stringer Clark and Ryan Carlisle Thomas as it means she can be a part of a larger team inspiring people to seek help. Particularly in the Institutional Abuse area, clients are often scared or traumatised to ask for help, meaning that the work the team do with these people can really make a difference, encouraging them to seek the outcome they desire.
