Welcome to Stringer Clark Madlaina

Stringer Clark is delighted to announce the appointment of Madlaina Meister to the property and conveyancing team at our Portland office.

Madlaina has been helping Portland locals with property matters for five years. She brings a wealth of knowledge to the firm around dealing with business leases, buying and selling small businesses, and residential and commercial conveyancing.

Portland the place for an idyllic family home

Born and educated in Switzerland, Madlaina decided to move to Australia and initially settled in Sydney. Now with a young family, she and her partner decided to sell their house, buy a bus, and set off around Australia to find the ideal place in which to raise their three children. Five years ago, they drove into Portland and fell in love with the area.

Originally completing a law degree in Switzerland, Madlaina went back to study law in Sydney where she gained a Master of Laws from University of Sydney, a Diploma in Law from the NSW Legal Profession Admission Board and completed the mandatory Practical Legal Training at the College of Law NSW.

Having joined the firm in September 2016, Madlaina has found the Stringer Clark team welcoming and happy to assist her with the transition into her new role.

Joining in community spirit

When not occupied by the law or her family, Madlaina is a fine soprano, having been trained in classical music while growing up in Switzerland. She puts her vocal talents to good use as a proud member of the Portland Community Rockers choir, which has recently started performing in community centres as well as touring local nursing homes.
