Community Fund

In May 2018, Stringer Clark launched its Community Fund. The Fund will give financial grants to selected community and sporting groups across Victoria’s south-west.

Local footballers, Year 12 legal students, and a local women’s cycling group are among the first to benefit from Stringer Clark’s inaugural launch of its Community Fund.

The initial groups to receive 2018 funding include:

  • South Warrnambool Football Netball Club
  • Team Ava - JDRF One Ride Camperdown/Cobden district (ALC)
  • Emmanuel College - Warrnambool (PJC) Sponsorship of Year 12 legal studies Award. The 2017 recipient was Ally Fedley.
  • Portland Football Netball and Cricket Club

The purpose of the Stringer Clark Community Fund is to offer financial support to local cultural and sporting organisations. This may include schools, athletics clubs, Nippers, sports clubs, hospital auxiliaries, not for profit or arts organisations or high-profile community initiatives. The Fund may be limited to one or many organisations for review on an annual basis.

The Stringer Clark Community Fund presents a good future funding opportunity for people working in Ballarat, Warrnambool, Portland, Horsham, Colac, Ararat, Hamilton, Castlemaine and Cobden.

All applications for 2019 closed on 9 December 2018 and successful applicants will be notified in mid February 2019.
